My coding adventure began mid-August starting with the pre-work required to attend Codeup's web development course! The past several months have been crammed with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Java, and projects with my peers from the Deimos Cohort. The instructors enabled each of us to accelerate our learning by providing a clear and concise cirriculum on what the industry wants today from software developers applying for jobs. Learning Unity with C#!

Continued Education

After graduating Codeup's Bootcamp for Web Development; it will only be the start of my quest learning and acquiring new skills! One of the engines I'd learn to love is Unity! I have already created my first "Hello World". This was a really fun experience getting off of the Mac laptop that I've done all my projects on thus far and starting a new programming langauge with C#. For as long as I can remember I've been a gamer; with Unity I plan on making a game that I can enjoy with my friends that is multi-platform across Android, iOS, and PC.

Learning React

See the Like button up above? Well, that was the first component I've ever created with React and it was super easy to get into my personal site! Up until I started learning React; I had no idea what it was. Realizing that with just a few scripts and some foreign code that I could have some components built into my site with React... I had to see it for myself! Surely, within less than a minute I saw a 'Like' button riding on top of a div. I am very excited to enhance my front-end capabilities with learning React in 2020 and beyond!
